How long does an initial lash appointment take?

Your first appointment with eyelashes will be a full series of tabs (also known as new ones) and will take between 2 and a half to 3 hours to complete. We need your lashes to be in the most natural and healthy state possible before applying the eyelash extension. Please do not curl your eyelashes or use any other manipulation on them on the day of your appointment. Oils that contain many moisturizers and sunscreens can prevent eyelash glue from adhering properly to natural lashes, dramatically reducing the longevity of eyelash extensions.

On the other hand, classic eyelash extensions are applied by adding extensions to each natural eyelash individually (one by one). To apply each of these more than 70 extensions, your eyelash stylist will pick up a set of tweezers and separate your natural lashes. The appointment durations mentioned so far are for stylists who have experience in the field and can apply eyelash extensions with the highest level of precision. The eyes will remain closed during the application of the eyelash extensions.

To avoid any discomfort, it is always recommended to remove your contact lenses so that your eyes are comfortable in a natural and rested state. We simply add extensions to newly available natural lashes that have reached the right phase of the growth cycle. A new stylist will also need more time to consult the eyelashes and ensure that the customer is satisfied with the style of the eyelashes before applying them. Phone calls and text messages can ruin your relaxing environment and add time to your visit (or reduce the number of tabs).

By eliminating any unnecessary contact with water or steam in the first 48 hours, you'll ensure that the joint between semi-permanent lashes and natural lashes has enough time to harden properly. It takes less time to refill, since I only need to apply 40 extensions per eye to achieve the initial fullness that the customer had with the complete set 3 weeks ago. Beginners will need more time to complete the same tasks, as they are still getting used to the skills needed to apply eyelash extensions. The lashes are slippery and there may be traces of mascara or eyelash glue left between them that you might not normally notice.

This makes the complex application of eyelash extensions more difficult and therefore takes longer for your eyelash stylist. The eyelash application process requires you to lie down with your head resting on a comfortable support pillow. Refills take less time because some extensions will continue to stay on your tabs when you return to the appointment.
