Is it normal for a lot of eyelash extensions to fall out?

Since eyelash extensions stick to natural lashes, it's normal for extensions to fall out as natural lashes replace themselves. Opt for the lighter and thinner extensions, as they will last longer than the thick and resistant ones. Lighter ones are easier for eyelashes to hold. Eyelash extensions that are not well attached to the natural eyelash won't last.

The eyelash extensions will be lifted. In addition, if an incorrect extension (too long or too thick) is selected, the proper application is more difficult and, in some cases, impossible. If the extensions are not placed the right way, they will inevitably fall out. Eyelash extensions are placed in a way that allows the natural cycle to continue as usual.

This means that natural lashes will peel off with their extension as they adhere. Therefore, the detachment of eyelash extensions reflects the natural detachment of the eyelashes. In other words, if you normally lose 2 to 5 lashes per day, you're likely to lose about the same number of eyelash extensions per day. Full growth can take a few weeks, so eyelash extensions usually last between 2 and 4 weeks.

It is recommended not to wet new eyelash extensions for at least 24 to 48 hours after applying them, as the glue is still hardening. If you get wet, the new extensions can crystallize and cause irritation, which can cause harmful rubbing to your eyes. After they have completely dried, you can swim and exercise as usual. And please talk to your eyelash technician about your lashes and the extensions they recommend for your eyelashes.

If you can see a single tab attached to an extension, you can breathe out knowing that it's a natural part of the cycle. Usually, if you lose a lot of natural lashes with extensions, the problem is with your eyelash technician. While you may be hesitant to touch the extension, if you don't remove dirt, oil, or debris, you could end up losing the extension. Stay calm and take a deep breath, as falling out eyelash extensions may not be a sign of pessimism.

How long eyelash extensions last depends on multiple factors, including how customers care for them. At the end of the day, eyelash extensions are a semi-permanent improvement and will therefore gradually fall off over time. When mascara is applied to eyelash extensions, the ingredients can compromise the adhesive and weaken the bond, causing the extensions to detach from the eyelashes and peel off. Each of these products is approved for eyelash extensions and will keep your extensions looking fierce and healthy.

Any amount lower than that (and it will be a fairly obvious difference between natural consequences and intense hair loss) means that either you haven't followed the aftercare guidelines or that your eyelash technician did a second-rate job. However, this also depends on a number of factors, such as how healthy your client's natural eyelashes are, how well they are cared for and the environment to which their extensions are exposed. The average person has 90 to 150 eyelashes on the upper eyelid and 70 to 80 on the lower eyelid. Make sure your customers have this knowledge before they leave the salon to reduce premature loss of eyelash extension.

Now that you know how many lashes you lose in a day, it's important to understand why eyelash extensions fall out in the first place.
